This strip was the first official appearance of the Demon Skeezicks! He's one of MY favorite villains from the strip even though the readers never seemed to like him. He was designed to look like one of those super-creepy 1930's rubber hose animation characters.
I also got a LOT of flack for his faux-olde English grammar as being totally incorrect. I later explained, in strip, that this isn't his normal speech pattern, and he's trying to sound more important to compensate for how darn SHORT he is and that HE doesn't know how to talk like this properly any more than I do.
