Hey there, Dandyfans! Did you know that today, July 31st, is the canonical BIRTHDAY of famous boy #Wizard HARRY POTTER? Yeah, according to the books, he would be turning 37 today, which is pretty wild.
That said, I thought I would take this opportunity to celebrate the bespectacled ones #birthday by running a fun 6 page adventure from the #DandyandCompany #Archives called: MAGIC BOY and the IMPENETRABLE QUEUE OF DOOM, chronicling Dandy and Maryweather's attempts to get her favorite authors autograph on a thinly veiled #parody of #HarryPotter, "Magic Boy". (Clever, aren't I?)
So, for #HarryPotterDay I present to you, in it's entirety a 6 page Dandy & Co. Adventure to enjoy!

Fun with Trademarks
CLICK STRIP TO ENLARGE
And remember that you can also read NEW strips a week ahead of their premier AND help support the continued adventures of Dandy & Company by becoming a PATREON Patron! ;)
As it turns out, "Lasagna Cat" is a LOT harder to draw well then one might imagine. Under the digital pixel obscuring used to push home the punchline here, I DID do my level best to replicate the art style of the comic strip in question. It's really tricky to get right and one slightly off line or proportion and it looks fake. Still, it's a lot of fun to try.

It's the 50th Anniversary of the Great Pumpkin, Dandy Dog!
CLICK STRIP TO ENLARGE
I drew this strip in homage to "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" a few years ago, doing my level best to match the iconic work of Peanuts creator and one of my all time creative inspirations, Charles Schulz.
Every year around this time, I like to re-post this, but with the 50th Anniversary of the iconic special, it seems even more apt.

Dreaming Big
Okay. Here's a little something EXTRA this week.
Soooo, if you're a fan of this strip, you probably know that this Friday is the premier of the brand spanking new PEANUTS MOVIE! And since I'm a mildly obsessive fan of all things Charles Schulz, I knew months ago that I'd be doing a strip like this to pay my respects to these incredible characters and their amazing creator, without whom there would be no "Dandy & Company".
This week's regular strip will run Wednesday too, same as always!

Dog Amuck
Okay, so this was a VERY self-indulgent bit of fun to draw. It is, of course, a parody itself of the classic Chuck Jones cartoon, "Duck Amuck".
But I was realizing that the running gag of me pretending to "reboot" the strip by ripping something else was getting played out, so this seemed like a fun way to cap the gag off... for now. ;)

Community Theater: Wolverine
This weekend's COMMUNITY THEATER is Marvel's Canadian nut job mutant, Wolverine! Of course, with a "Dandy & Co." twist.
Sadly, this sketch cover original is NOT for sale, as it's already sold. Hope you dig it.

The Perambulating Deceased
Okay, so this strip IS posting a day late. However, the actual reason is MUCH less exciting as rogue #walkers. Just had a few too many rush deadlines all at once.
That said, I thought it DID make for a fun excuse to break both the 4th wall AND the running story line for a goof. And of all the things I've already parodied, I figured that the Walking Dead was overdue.
