Audrey is, in many ways, a stand in for ME in the strip and as such, she often has WAY more enthusiasm for creative projects then any of her friends. I can easily say that this is something that happened a LOT to me as a kid when I wanted to try and make movies and the like and was met with apathy. Now I draw my own comics and everyone else can suck it! lol
